Jiří Pilát and his musical legacy in Poříčí nad Sázavou and its surroundings

This master thesis introduces Jiří Pilát (4. 4. 1921 - 7. 6. 2007), a native of Posázaví. He had been concerned with music on a non-professional level all his life, especially with liturgical music. In order to carry on his interest he created a rich archive, mostly by searching and transcribing the score material. The work aims to show his life and work with regard to both his lifelong musical focus and local activity, and his conceivable influence on the broader cultural awareness. It is comprised from five main chapters: the life of Jiří Pilát, his heritage, a choir and an orchestra in Poříčí nad Sázavou, efforts to re- reveal the work of Jan Dismas Zelenka and draw attention to it; and the musical legacy of Jiří Pilát. The Development of Local Government in the Municipality of Poříčí nad Sázavou

This thesis has a case study deals with the development of local government in the municipality of Poříčí nad Sázavou district Benešov. The aim is to identify factors that affect the character of the political decisions made by local authorities in that municipality. The first part is devoted to the definition of basic terms concepts and characteristics of the local political system in the Czech republic based on a study of the literature. The second part is based on knowledge theoretical a part deal with socioeconomic analysis also identifies actors of the local political process and their interaction. The work includes comparison of the results of the municipal elections. Attention is focused on the development of the local political system, political participation and the formation of a municipal coalition.

Late Romanic heritage sights situated in Posázaví (in Týnec nad Sázavou and Poříčí nad Sázavou)

The main objective of this Diploma thesis covering the topic ``Late Romanic heritage sights situated in Posázaví/ in Týnec nad Sázavou and Poříčí nad Sázavou), was to sum up the literature touching those sights, to describe the historical buildings and to link them with the whole architectonic development in ancient Bohemia. In its first part, the Diploma thesis concludes the literature used for my descriptions, in the second part it describes selected buildings {--} chapel of St. Havel in Poříčí nad Sázavou, chapel of St. Petr in Poříčí nad Sázavou, rotunda of St.Václav in Týnec nad Sázavou and extinct Romanic church located in the same city. The thesis also touches building{\crq}s conditions, describes their reconstructions, inventory and ranks them chronologically into the context of ancient Romanic architecture in our country. Finally all my descriptions are also supported by the visual attachment, which is the last part of my work.
